Our Pastor

    Pastor Thomas George has been serving as the senior pastor of Philadelphia Pentecostal Church of Dallas (IPC)  since May 2008. His dedicated wife Suseela is a true blessing to his ministry. Their older son Dennis and his wife Betty and younger son Benson are living in Oklahoma.

      Rev. Thomas George was born to Mr. George and Mrs. Mary. as the oldest and only son. His parents were not fortunate to have children and they made a vow that if they got a child he would be dedicated to the Lord. They explained this to him and he willingly accepted this plan. His father and mother became devout Christians after he was miraculously delivered from an accident.

    He accepted Jesus as his personal Savior and Lord and received water baptism at the age of sixteen. In 1975 he dedicated his life for full time ministry. In 1976 he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He is a graduate of Faith Theological Seminary, Kerala, India(1977), Hebron Bible College, Kerala, India(1978), Bachelor of Arts from Feroz Gandhi College, Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, India, Master in Divinity from American Christian College and Seminary, Oklahoma and Master in Ministry from Southwestern Christian University, Oklahoma. He has earned Certificates in advanced leadership from Haggai Institute, Bahrain(1997), and in New Testament from NECK, Kuwait (2000). He was ordained on October 11, 1987 by the Presbytery of Indian Pentecostal Church of God (Northern Region) and on June 9th, 2004 by the Presbytery of International Pentecostal Holiness Church, Oklahoma and also he received his certification (4 Units) for Chaplaincy in 2006 from VA.

    He has served as Pastor of Indian Pentecostal Churches in Kerala, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and New Delhi in India. He also served as a pastor in Kuwait from 1993 to 2001 in Indian Pentecostal Churches and from 2005-2008 in Indian Pentecostal Holiness Church in Oklahoma.
